Award Ceremony
Rabidranath World School, DLF Phase III Gurgaon, organized a grand award giving function to felicitate the achievers of session 2013-14. The students from Pre-Nur to XI were awarded with certificates and trophies for academic excellence and all round performance. Certificates and appreciation letters were also given to students who had 100% attendance, displayed impeccable conduct or showed remarkable improvement in academics. This is done to motivate students to be more regular and put in more effort in their work. The eminent guests on the occasion were Ms. Sreela Ghosh, retired special secretary, Govt. of India and Mr. Ravinder Sharma, a retired professor, Punjab University. He is an active member of the group Sur Sarita & Tarannum renowned for music and art.

The guests congratulated the winners and their parents. Ms. Ghosh asked the student to continue to better their performance with continued guidance from their teachers and parents. Mr. Sharma laid stress on young students imbibing right values from their elders. The Principal, Dr. Kiran R Banerji, congratulated all the winners and complimented the parents/teachers for their efforts. She thanked all the guests for sparing their valuable time.

    Workshop on Civil Aviation Industry
    A workshop on careers in Civil Aviation Industry was organized by J.R.N Institute of Aviation Technology in Rabindranath World School, DLF phase III, Gurgaon on 28th April,2014. It was conducted by Mr. Rakesh Ranjan, Director Brandmania Communication and Mrs. Vani the Admission Incharge of IIA Group, specifically for the students of classes XI & XII Science Stream. Highlighting the importance of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, they not only introduced the students with this upcoming discipline in Engineering but also motivated them to have their tickets for entering into this zero error perfection world i.e. AME. They also made the students aware of the difference between an Aeronautical Engineer, a Pilot and an AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer); the roles and responsibilities of an AME and how essential it is for every aircraft to get a clearance from an AME before its take off. The workshop ended with a brainstorming session where Mr. Rakesh and Ms. Vani gave satisfactory replies to the curious queries of the students.
