Rabindranath World School, Gurugram organised an award ceremony for the outstanding achievers of the academic session 2018-19 on 18^th May,2019. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Mr. Gaurav Tomar followed by Ganesh vandana by Pranavi Anand of Class X. The happiness and pride in the eyes of the parents was much evident as they witnessed their children receive the certificates and trophies for their proficiency in various scholastic and co-scholastic categories. The Principal applauded the accomplishment of the young scholars and inspired them to continue to work diligently so as to reach the pinnacle of success. He praised the meritorious achievements of students who had scored excellent marks in class X and XII board examination and motivated them to add more quills in their caps through a systematic and organised method of learning. The ceremony came to a close with the vote of thanks proposed by the Principal, Mr. Gaurav Tomar.

Students of Rabindranath World School, Gurugram celebrated Rabindranath Jayanti on 14^th May,2019 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Gurudev, Rabindranath Tagore. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp and paying a floral tribute to Gurudev. The melodious rendition of the famous poem, “Where the mind is without fear” by Anushree Sarkar was an apt beginning for the ceremony. The sheer dedication of glitters of RWS made it a grand celebration. The whole programme was a wonderful and enriching experience for the spectators. Pariksha Deb from primary wing paid a beautiful tribute through her graceful performance based on one of the inspiring poems of Tagore. Musicology team of RWS took up the challenge of presenting the Hindi version of the masterpiece poem, “ Where the mind is without fear” with unique elegance and beauty. They create an aura which made the spectators spell bound. The programme culminated with the address by the esteemed Principal, Mr. Gaurav Tomar. He enlightened students with his inspiring words and motivated them to fulfil the educational goals envisaged by Rabindranath Tagore.
