Independence Day Celebration   

On August 15,1947, India got independence and finally broke from the shackles of slavery. RWS celebrated this auspicious day with great enthusiasm & patriotic fervour. The Principal, Mr. Gaurav Tomar hoisted the flag. The cultural programme at school commenced with everyone singing together " Vander Mataram". The sprit of freedom was well exhibited by the students through a spectrum of patriotic poems, songs, dances & quiz.
The celebrations concluded with inspiring words of the chairman Wg. Cdr. Y. S. Tomar, followed by the national anthem.

      Sports Achievements
      Sports Achievements   

      The students of Rabindranath World School participated in various sports events . The school believes that if we have courage, our dreams can come true. Keeping this thing / mantra in mind, the students were prepared & they brought laurels to the school by competeting with various schools of Gurugram district. Swimming championship was held on 27th & 28th July,2019 in District Swimming Association GGN where the students bagged 11 medals in all -1 Gold, 5 Silver & 5 Bronze.
      Boxing Tournament was held on 30th & 31st July,2019 in Tau Devilal Stadium at district level. Vasundhara Choudhary won a Gold medal, Mayank Choudhry, Akash Sharma, Himanshu & Krishna won bronze medals. Taekwondo championship was held on 28th & 29th July, 2019. Jatin Yadav of class 9 won silver Medal Under 60-65 weight category. Lokesh Kadian won 2 Gold and 1 Silver medal in School District Championship held on 1st August at Amity International School sector-46, Gurugram.

        Today on 2nd August,2019 the middle wing of the prestigious Rabindranath World School successfully conducted the activity of 'Plantation of Saplings' under the 'Go Green' programme of school under the kind guidence of director of school Mrs. Manisha Singh. 
        All the students participated with full energy and enthusiasm. They planted various ornamental plants in the school premises and thus had a great feeling of being connected with nature and thus saving the environment.
