Rabindranath World School, DLF Phase III, Gurgaon organized a spectacular cultural programme to set the mood for Diwali. The event was conducted by the tiny tots of Grade I with attendance by their parents and the Principal of the school, Mrs. Manisha Singh. The event was also attended by Mrs. Kusum Yadav, the councillor of ward no. 35, Gurgaon. The programme had a group song, an exuberant dance number, a skit on Green Diwali where a plea was made to one and all to refrain from bursting crackers and avoid harming the environment and a musical Ram Leela. The talent, confidence and enthusiasm of the children were appreciated by the audience. It ended with some games for the parents. Prizes were also distributed to the first three position holders. Last but not the least, as a token of goodwill and love, parents were handed diyas decorated by their children in the class. In all, it was a grand celebration by the little wonders.
