On 24th February, Russia launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine following the Ukrainian Revolution of dignity. This started the largest arm conflict after World War II in Europe. 
Rabindranath World School hosted an open discussion on the same where students of class 9th to 12th presented their views on the invasion. All the students including participants as well as non-participants were very elevated as this conflict between two countries is affecting the whole world including India. The discussion was between two groups, where one group represented Russia’s views on the invasion, whereas the other group represented Ukraine. Points discussed in favor of Russia included “Role of NATO and EU in starting the conflict”, “demilitarise and de-Nazify Ukraine” etc. The views in favor of Ukraine included, “Why Ukraine wants to join NATO”, “War leading to killings of civilians” etc. The event was judged by Mr. Manoj Sharma (HOD Political Science) and Mrs. Rekha Kumar (HOD Geography). 
Lastly, we tried to draw the attention of the students to summarise and conclude the GD by highlighting all the important points discussed by all the groups.

Science club of our school organised 'Treasure Hunt' on Thursday, 28th April, 2022. There were 5 teams of 5 students each which had students from classes IX to XII. Students were given a question paper which had riddles related to science and they had to find the treasure from the three science labs (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). Students were enthusiastic about the Hunt and were thinking hard to get answers of the science riddles which improved their scientific temperament. They were paying attention to the minute details and all the instruments, chemicals, species etc. kept in the three labs for clues. Team A China rose and team B Marigold bagged first position whereas team C Petunia got the second position in the Hunt. Students learnt to think, analyse, comprehend, understand, grasp general notions, explore their creativity, practice problem-solving and brush up their skills with the help of this event.It was a fun learning experience for them and students are looking forward for such events in future.

Earth Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by Rabindranites on 22nd April in the school premises with the Earth Buddies from Isha Foundation, a foundation founded by the Spiritual leader Sadhguru. The premises buzzed with various activities like poster making, scavenger hunt, tree plantation drive, etc. with a view to sensitise children about the conservation of natural resources,  and making planet Earth a better place to live. The highlight of the day was an eye-opening session conducted by Ms. Deepa Agnihotri and Ms. Paramjit Narang, active members of the Isha Foundation. The session gave insight into the degradation of soil, its impact on human life, and sustainable practices that can help in restoring degraded ecosystems.
The Director, Ms. Manisha Tomar expressed her delight in witnessing enthusiasm among children and motivated the young minds to make the planet a healthy place,  not only for us but for our coming generations too.

A farewell party was organised at Rabindranath world school on 13th April 2022 for the outgoing class XII batch. The programme was graced by the Director Ms. Manisha Singh, The Chairman Mr. Y. S. Tomar, Vice Chairman Mr. Gaurav Tomar, the Academic Director Ms. Munmun Banerjee & The Principal Ms. Poonam Grover. The celebration started with a formal welcome note followed by a scintillating performance which set the stage on fire. A plethora of talents were exhibited in the form of dance, skit &musical performances, which were appreciated & applauded by the audience. fashion show organised by the juniors for their seniors & teachers was an icing on the cake. Harshvardhan & Sukanya bagged the title of Mr. & Miss RWS. Class XII students shared their experiences & emotions. They expressed their deep sense of love & gratitude to the school. The principal addressed the students & blessed them for bright future.
