The Independence Day celebration commenced with a grand and patriotic welcome of the Chief Guest by the NCC Cadets, setting the perfect tone for the day’s celebrations.
The ceremony continued with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, led by Chairman Wing Commander Y. S. Tomar, along with Vice Chairman Mr. Gaurav Tomar, Director Mrs. Manisha Singh, Principal Ms. Vanita Baghla, Vice-Principal Mr. Manoj Sharma, and Headmistress Mrs. Shilpa Dikshit. The unfurling of the National Flag, accompanied by the spirit of patriotism, filled the atmosphere with pride and reverence for our nation.
The cultural programme began with a delightful dance performance by the Pre-Primary students, followed by captivating musical performances. The Primary Wing students then enthralled the audience with an energetic dance performance, followed by inspiring speeches and a soulful poem presented by the students.
The celebrations continued with a vibrant Middle Wing dance performance, which was followed by an amazing skit depicting the inspiring life and sacrifice of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. The powerful portrayal of his courage, patriotism, and unwavering commitment to the nation left the audience deeply moved and reminded everyone of the invaluable sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
Following the cultural programme, Vice Chairman Mr. Gaurav Tomar addressed the gathering and shared an inspiring message with the students, encouraging them to uphold the values of patriotism, responsibility, and dedication towards the nation.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Principal Ms. Vanita Baghla, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, teachers, students, parents, and everyone who contributed to making the Independence Day celebration a memorable and meaningful occasion.
The celebration was a beautiful amalgamation of patriotism, culture, talent, and the spirit of freedom, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of pride in our great nation.

      The Investiture Ceremony was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur at Rabindranath World School on 10 August 2026. The ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising knowledge, hope, and the beginning of a new journey.This was followed by the distribution of badges and sashes to the newly appointed student leaders, formally recognising them as members of the Student Council. The leaders then took the oath of office, pledging to discharge their responsibilities with sincerity, discipline, integrity, and dedication.The Chairman addressed the gathering, motivating the young leaders to lead by example and uphold the values and ethos of the institution. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Principal, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, teachers, and students for their presence and support.The ceremony marked a significant beginning for the newly appointed leaders as they embarked on their journey of responsibility and service

        Rabindranath World School hosts CBSE Social and Emotional Learning Training for Teachers

        A one-day *Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Training Program* was conducted at Rabindranath World School under the guidance of the *Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE GURUGRAM  01/08/2026

        The training was facilitated by *CBSE Resource Persons:  Dr. Meenakshi Narula and Dr. Nirmal Popli and attended by  47 teachers from school participated.

        *Objective of the Training*

        The primary aim of the SEL training was to equip educators with strategies to foster students' social and emotional competencies. CBSE has emphasized SEL as a key component of the National Education Policy 2020 to help students develop self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision-making, relationship skills, and social awareness.

        *Key Highlights:*

        - *Sessions on Core SEL Competencies*: Teachers were trained on integrating self-awareness, empathy, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution in daily classroom practices.

        - *Activity-Based Learning*: The workshop included role-plays, group discussions, case studies, and mindfulness activities to demonstrate how SEL can be embedded in all subjects.

        - *Teacher Well-being*: A dedicated session focused on stress management and emotional well-being of teachers to help them become better facilitators of SEL.

        - *Classroom Implementation*: Practical tools, lesson plans, and assessment strategies were shared for implementing SEL in both curricular and co-curricular activities.

        *Impact*

        The training provided teachers with actionable strategies to create a positive, inclusive, and emotionally safe classroom environment. It also reinforced the importance of addressing students' mental health and social skills alongside academic learning.

        The Principal, Ms. Vanita Baghla expressed gratitude to CBSE for organizing the program and stated, _"SEL is not an add-on but the foundation of holistic education. This training will help our teachers nurture students who are not only academically competent but also emotionally resilient."*
