Rabindranath World School proudly hosted RWS-MUN 2025 on 21st and 22nd August 2025 at the school auditorium. The conference brought together bright young minds from across schools, offering them a platform to engage in meaningful dialogue, diplomacy, and debate.
The event was moderated under the guidance of Dr. Garima Duhan and Mrs. Remya KS Nair (Charge D’Affaires), with the Secretariat comprising Secretary-General Anushka Kashania, Deputy Secretary-General Simran, and Rapporteur Advik Singh.
This year’s United Nations Security Council (UNSC) committee deliberated on the pressing agenda: “De-escalating the Iran–Israel Conflict and its Regional Implications.” Delegates engaged in intensive discussions, presenting well-researched positions, negotiating solutions, and drafting impactful resolutions. An Open Forum on “Humans vs Artificial Intelligence” further enriched the event with thought-provoking perspectives.
The conference embodied the four pillars of RWS-MUN — Diplomacy, Peacebuilding, Knowledge, and Leadership. It was not just an academic exercise but also a journey of empathy, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving.
To acknowledge exceptional performance, awards were conferred in multiple categories including Best Delegate, Best Debater, Best Speaker, Most Researched Delegate, Most Intellectual Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, Best Dressed Delegate, and Most Disciplined Delegate.
With its commitment to nurturing global citizens, RWS-MUN 2025 proved to be more than just a simulation — it was a movement of ideas, actions, and hope for a better tomorrow.
