Rabindranath World School believes in the Financial Literacy of our students, and hence organized an informative session on cryptocurrencies and NFTs, where we had a discussion related to BITCOIN and other cryptos like ETHEREUM. This helped our children to understand the meaning and purpose of crypto currencies. They have also informed the risks and disadvantages of purchasing the same. The session started with an introduction to money as a medium of exchange to understand cryptocurrencies better that was something that students must understand. Disadvantages of money or our current currency were also discussed so that students can understand why there was a need to adopt a new method of payment. After that, Bitcoin and Ethereum as cryptocurrencies were discussed and how these two are different from each other. The underlying technology of bitcoin was also discussed with the students. 
During the session, students were very interested to know about cryptos, and after the session concluded they cleared all their doubts by asking questions. The event was also attended by the school's Vice Chairman, Mr. Gaurav Tomar, Academic Director, Mrs. Munmun Banerjee, and Principal, Mrs. Poonam Grover.
