HELPERS DAY

Rabindranath World School, DLF Phase III Gurgaon, celebrated Helpers Day on 21st October,2014 in order to teach the students the essentials of social behaviour , benefits of interdependence, and the role of both direct & indirect helpers whom we need most necessarily to complete our daily routine. The programme was initiated with a warm welcome for all the helpers like the Bus Drivers & Conductors, Electricians, Gardeners, Maids and all other assistants and guards of the school. A small cultural programme was organised by the students, which included various performances by the Pre-primary, Primary & the middle wing. The students also expressed their gratitude for all the love, care and affection showered by them in the form of a few lines written, spoken & recited by the students specifically for each driver, conductor, maid, guard, lab assistant etc. The Chairman of the school & the Principal Dr. Banerji were also a part of the celebration & made these helpers feel honoured & special with their small speeches, expressing their gratitude for the valuable services & their contribution towards the education, working & maintenance and smooth functioning of the school. Gifts were also handed over to the helpers by the tiny tots. A few senior drivers & conductors also spoke thanking the children & school for the special honour given to them.
