Rabindranites celebrated “Rabindra Jayanti” with great enthusiasm and fervour on 17 May 2024 in the school premises. The Director, Ms. Manisha Tomar, the Principal, Mrs.Poonam Grover and the Headmistress, Mrs. Shilpa Dixit graced the occasion with their benign presence. The students exhibited a bouquet of mesmerising programmes including skit,dance, poem etc to pay tribute to the legendary author, philosopher and poet. Theatre club students presented a heartwarming play “Kabuliwala” which gave a kaleidoscopic view of the complexities of human relationships based on the universal theme of love, loss, and longing. The students enthralled the audience with their scintillating dance performance, and musical tribute celebrating his love for art,music and literature. The Principal, Mrs. Poonam Grover appreciated Rabindranites for their exceptional performances and motivated students to draw inspiration from Tagore’s work, and embrace his ideals of equality, compassion, tolerance and cultural diversity.

The day that celebrates the essence of motherhood is Mothers’ Day. Keeping this bonding emotion in mind, we at Rabindranath World School had a special celebration on Mothers’ Day on 15th May 2024, Wednesday by the students of Pre- Primary & Primary.
The assembly started with auspicious lamp lighting ceremony. Students of classes 2 & 3 sang a soulful welcome song. Our Little one’s never fail to impress and so the nursery students took to the stage and danced on the beautiful tunes of “You are my sunshine” song.  Followed by this students of class 2 recited a heart touching poem on how mothers are equal to God. It was truly an emotional moment for everyone present there.
Mother’s Day Celebration reminded our little ones that we have been neglecting our duties as sons and daughters. The students of class 1 & 2 had something more special and unique to bring a smile on their beloved mother’s face. They passionately got involved in making beautiful greeting cards for their mothers.
Heart warming feelings filled up the air intimacy, gratitude, appreciation and acknowledgement. The bulletin boards were decorated with these beautiful cards and conveyed an important message of being humble, respectful and obedient to our parents. Our Principal Miss Poonam Grover inspired the children with motivational words of appreciation and guided them to be good obedient children.
All in all it was an enjoyable and memorable Mother’s Day Celebration.

On May 15, 2024, RWS held a comprehensive career counselling session with the goal of giving Class 11 and 12 students insightful advice and direction as they begin the crucial process of selecting their future pathways. Dr. Ashu Gautam, an experienced counsellor and professor of engineering at the Manav Rachna Institute of Research and Studies, led the session. The session was designed to empower students with the knowledge and resources needed to make informed decisions about their academic and professional aspirations.
A brief introduction to the idea of career exploration was given at the beginning of the conference, stressing the value of study and introspection in determining possible career choices. As they started to investigate different job alternatives, students were encouraged to take their interests, values, and talents into consideration.
An overview of the many academic and career paths—undergraduate degree programs, vocational training, and apprenticeship opportunities—that are accessible after Class 12 was given to the pupils. To aid students in making an informed decision, information on entrance tests, eligibility requirements, and admission procedures was also provided.The students acquired important first-hand knowledge about many professions, industries, and career paths. The conclave also featured an extensive array of training programs, educational establishments, and resources for professional development that are accessible to students.
The career counselling session for the students was a resounding success, equipping participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to navigate the complex landscape of career planning. As they embark on the next chapter of their academic and professional journeys, students are better prepared to make informed decisions and pursue opportunities that align with their aspirations and potential.

The Pre Primary Wing of Rabindranath World School hosted a delightful Ice-Cream Party which became a cherished event for the young students. An external ice-cream vendor was invited to provide a variety of cool treats, making the day memorable for everyone involved. The vendor offered a delightful array of options including cold coffee, mango shake and variety of ice-creams. The students were thrilled with the array of choices and enjoyed the freedom to pick their favourite treats. The Ice-Cream Party was a resounding success, bringing joy and a break from routine for the Pre-Primary wing students.
