On May 23, 2025, Kalakahani Theatre Workshops, a team of passionate theatricians with over three decades of collective experience, hosted an enriching and fun-filled theatre workshop at Rabindranath World School. This engaging event was designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and introduce participants to the transformative power of theatre through interactive activities, games, and storytelling.  
The one-day workshop brought together children and adults in a vibrant exploration of stagecraft, aligning with Kalakahani’s mission to foster self-expression and imagination through the arts. Participants were immersed in a dynamic environment where they explored the basics of theatre, including:  
- **Memory and Mind-Body Coordination**: Engaging exercises to sharpen focus and physical awareness.  
- **Emotions and Expressions**: Activities to help participants connect with and convey emotions authentically.  
- **Imagination and Team Building**: Collaborative games to ignite creativity and foster teamwork.  
- **Voice, Speech, and Communication**: Techniques to enhance vocal delivery and stage presence.  
- **Story Structure and Building**: An introduction to crafting compelling narratives for the stage.  

Guided by Kalakahani’s experienced mentors, the workshop emphasized the belief that “the stage is the biggest teacher.” Through playful yet purposeful activities, participants were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, connect with others, and discover their inner actors and storytellers.  The workshop was structured to balance learning with enjoyment, ensuring participants left with both new skills and a sense of accomplishment. The activities were tailored to be accessible for beginners while offering opportunities for more experienced participants to refine their abilities. By the end of the session, attendees had not only explored the nuances of theatre but also experienced the joy of creating and performing together.  
Kalakahani’s approach is rooted in over two decades of theatre education expertise, drawing on proven methods to develop essential life skills such as empathy, social adroitness, and confidence. The workshop at Rabindranath World School exemplified their commitment to making the arts a cornerstone of cognitive and emotional growth, particularly for children. The workshop leveraged the school’s conducive environment to create a memorable experience. The event was part of Kalakahani’s ongoing efforts to bring theatre to diverse audiences, following their successful programs for kids, adults, and corporate groups.  
 

On May 21st, Rabindranath World School celebrated Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti with great enthusiasm. The event honored the poet's legacy through various performances.

Highlights of the Celebration
- Speech: Students delivered inspiring speeches about Tagore's life and works.
- Song: Students sang melodious renditions of Tagore's compositions.
- Skit - Chutti: A delightful skit based on Tagore's story "Chutti" was performed.
- Dance: Elegant dance performances added to the celebration.

Chairman's Address
The Chairman Wing Commander Y.S. Tomar addressed the students, highlighting Tagore's contributions to literature and education. He emphasized the importance of Tagore's ideals in today's world.

Vote of Thanks
Head Mistress Mrs. Shilpa Dikshit extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to students, teachers, and organizers for making the celebration a success.

The event was a fitting tribute to Rabindranath Tagore's enduring legacy.

On May 16th, Rabindranath World School organized a fun-filled Bagless Day for its students. The event aimed to provide a break from the regular academic routine and encourage creativity, teamwork, and interactive learning.

- Show and Tell: Students showcased their favorite objects, sharing stories and experiences.
- Word Puzzle: Engaging word games and puzzles challenged students' vocabulary and problem-solving skills.
- Math Bonanza: Interactive math activities made learning numbers fun and exciting.
- Art Tie and Dye: Students unleashed their creativity, designing and creating unique tie-dye masterpieces.
- Fireless Cooking: Students learnt to prepare delicious dishes without fire, exploring culinary creativity.

Conclusion
The Bagless Day was a huge success, providing students with a refreshing break and opportunities to develop new skills.

On May 16th, 2025, Rabindranath World School celebrated Mother's Day with great enthusiasm and love, honoring the selfless dedication of mothers.
