On May 23rd , the Middle School students of Rabindranath World School celebrated Bagless Day with the exciting theme “BizKids”, stepping into a world of real-life skills, creativity, and meaningful experiences.
Highlights of the celebration:
● Students began the day with an engaging Debate on the topic “Population: An Asset or Liability in the Age of AI”. Students passionately presented diverse viewpoints, showcasing their research, reasoning, and oratory skills.
● Next came TradeQuest: The Barter Survival Game, where students experienced hands-on learning about trade, needs vs. wants, negotiation and challenges of the barter system.
● A powerful Awareness Talk on Bullying from school counselor Ms. Amanat encouraged empathy, inclusion, and peer support. Students listened attentively, understanding the impact of bullying and how they can play a role in creating a safe, respectful school environment.
● The Art Zone buzzed with creativity, as students immersed themselves in multiple artistic expressions. They painted eco-friendly jute bags using Mandala art and block printing, crafted beautiful wall hangings, and designed handmade cards using leaf impressions—blending nature, color, and imagination in every piece.
● The day ended with Movie Time, as students enjoyed The Adventures of Tintin, fostering imagination and adventure.
Bagless Day truly captured the spirit of experiential learning—where curiosity, creativity, and compassion came together outside the pages of textbooks.
