Rabindranath World School, Gurugram celebrated Independence Day adhering to Covid-19 protocols and safety guidelines. A colourful programme was put up by Rabindranites which went live simultaneously on the school’s Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. The Chief Guests, Mr. Udaivir Singh(Ex-ACP Delhi Police, Crime Branch) and Mrs. Raj Rathi, the Vice-Chairman ,Mr. Gaurav Tomar, the Director,  Mrs.  Munmun Banerjee and the Principal, Mrs. Poonam Grover graced the occasion with their benign presence. The programme commenced with flag hoisting followed by the National Anthem and pledge. Rabindranites presented an enthralling array of cultural events including poems, speech, dance and skits to demonstrate the spirit and glory of India. Children filled the ambience with patriotic fervour through their spectacular performances. The Chief Guest motivated the audience through his inspiring words and highlighted the ideals, values and sacrifices of our freedom fighters. The function concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the Principal.
