      *Objective of the Training*

The primary aim of the SEL training was to equip educators with strategies to foster students' social and emotional competencies. CBSE has emphasized SEL as a key component of the National Education Policy 2020 to help students develop self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision-making, relationship skills, and social awareness.

      *Key Highlights:*

      - *Sessions on Core SEL Competencies*: Teachers were trained on integrating self-awareness, empathy, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution in daily classroom practices.

      - *Activity-Based Learning*: The workshop included role-plays, group discussions, case studies, and mindfulness activities to demonstrate how SEL can be embedded in all subjects.

      - *Teacher Well-being*: A dedicated session focused on stress management and emotional well-being of teachers to help them become better facilitators of SEL.

      - *Classroom Implementation*: Practical tools, lesson plans, and assessment strategies were shared for implementing SEL in both curricular and co-curricular activities.

      *Impact*

The training provided teachers with actionable strategies to create a positive, inclusive, and emotionally safe classroom environment. It also reinforced the importance of addressing students' mental health and social skills alongside academic learning.

The Principal, Ms. Vanita Baghla expressed gratitude to CBSE for organizing the program and stated, _"SEL is not an add-on but the foundation of holistic education. This training will help our teachers nurture students who are not only academically competent but also emotionally resilient."*

The session concluded with Votes of Thanks.
