Rabindranath World School organised an Orientation Programme for the parents on 30th March 2022. The programme was an interaction platform for the new students along with their parents to connect & learn about the vision, misson, curricullum,the rules & the policies of the school. The programme commenced with a warm welcome followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
The chairman Wing Commander Y. S. Tomar (Retd), highlighted the importance of discipline and values in the life of a student. He also stressed the need of an ongoing partnership between parents & school to bring about holistic development of the students. This was follwed by a presentation which briefed the parents about the co-scholastic activities, the teaching pedagogy, the overview of the various subjects & the activities to be undertaken in the year ahead.
It culminated with an interactive session with the parents and vote of thanks proposed by the Principal, Ms. Poonam Grover. 

The session was conducted to raise awareness among the students regarding the LGBTQ community. In this interactive session many important points were addressed such as understanding that it is normal to feel different, gender neutrality, and how to combat the socio-emotional problems associated with it. The students were also introduced to the concept of LGBTQ ally and how they can support the other students and members of this community to feel safe, comfortable, and an integral part of all the others.
