According to the new education policy every school is supposed to organise a bagless day activity. We , RWS also organised bagless day for our students on 12th May 2023. The main purpose of introducing bagless days is to make learning at schools joyful and stress-free for students. The idea of bagless day aims to inculcate the feeling of love going to school everyday and reducing the burden of studies and work. Our students totally enjoyed the day.
We had organised movie screenings, painting competitions, art and craft activities , cooking without fire, debates on environmental issues, sports activities etc. This will help the students learn concepts in a better manner and sensitising them to social and environmental issues.

Love warmth and appreciation filled in air when our little ones were eagerly prepared to celebrate the remarkable bond between Mother's and their children . The school was decorated with colourful buntings and banners radiating love for all wonderful mother's.
As a part of the celebration kids took part in creative activities to make personalised gifts for their mother's. The little ones from pre primary wing sang delightful songs accompanied by synchronised dance moves that brought smiles to everyone's faces. Our dear teachers talked to the kids about the significance of mother's in our life and the immeasurable contributions they make. They also highlighted the importance of expressing love and affection towards mother's not only by spending time with them but also by helping them in chores , not just on Mother's day but every day.

Rabindra Jayanti , also known as the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, is a significant cultural celebration in our school. This auspicious occasion honors the life and contributions of Tagore , the multi talented genius, poet, philosopher, musician, artist and a Nobel laureate. The whole atmosphere was filled with excitement as all the students, teachers and staff were prepared to celebrate the Rabindra Jayanti. The school corridors were adorned with colourful decorations showcasing the vibrant essence of Tagore's world. The painting inspired from Tagore's famous short story "Kabooliwala" was one among the many.
The day began with a special assembly in the school auditorium. Students gave introduction to Tagore's life and his immense contributions to literature, music and art. The highlight of the celebration was the cultural extravaganza featuring students from various classes. The young talents had been rehearsing for weeks under the guidance of our dedicated teachers. The stage came alive with vibrant colours and melodious tunes as students showcased their talents. These celebrations serves as a reminder that his vision and ideals continue to resonate with us today and that his legacy will forever inspire generations to come.
