Rabindra Jayanti , also known as the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, is a significant cultural celebration in our school. This auspicious occasion honors the life and contributions of Tagore , the multi talented genius, poet, philosopher, musician, artist and a Nobel laureate. The whole atmosphere was filled with excitement as all the students, teachers and staff were prepared to celebrate the Rabindra Jayanti. The school corridors were adorned with colourful decorations showcasing the vibrant essence of Tagore's world. The painting inspired from Tagore's famous short story "Kabooliwala" was one among the many.
The day began with a special assembly in the school auditorium. Students gave introduction to Tagore's life and his immense contributions to literature, music and art. The highlight of the celebration was the cultural extravaganza featuring students from various classes. The young talents had been rehearsing for weeks under the guidance of our dedicated teachers. The stage came alive with vibrant colours and melodious tunes as students showcased their talents. These celebrations serves as a reminder that his vision and ideals continue to resonate with us today and that his legacy will forever inspire generations to come.
