Keeping alive the old tradition of organising Inter School Dance Competitions, Rabindranath World School yet again brilliantly organized ‘Folk Fiesta’ an amalgamation of folk dances of the Seven Sisters, where the rich cultural tapestry of the Seven Sisters came alive through the art of folk dance. On 22nd November, 2023, the young performers of various Schools of Gurgaon zestfully participated in the event organized in the school auditorium. 
The competition began with great excitement and vigour. The participants, dressed in colourful costumes, set the stage on fire with their enthralling and energetic performance. The fun filled extravaganza featured varied forms of folk dances of north-east witnessing a celebration of diversity and tradition. The air became alive as the dancers, clad in vibrant and flashy accoutrement, whirled and twirled to the rhythmic beats of melodious numbers. It was a challenge for the judges to pick out the winners.
Ms. Anindita Chatterjee, an empanelled artist at Indian Council for Cultural Relations and Ms. Aakriti Gautam, a passionate dancer were the esteemed judges for the event.They appreciated the efforts of the students in putting up a splendid performance. They praised the impressive choreography and graceful movement of the performers which drew thunderous applause from the spectators.  
The event was a resounding success, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the students, teachers and organizers, that not only celebrated the young talent but also increased the self confidence and self esteem in the children.

    The school celebrated its annual day function for classes pre-primary to class 2 on 25th November, 2023 with great  zeal and pomp in the school campus. The theme of the event was “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”. It aimed to showcase India’s patronage and cultural influences on the different countries of the world. The event traced the glory of India down the millenniums and depicted the beautiful concept of “Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam”. The students showcased their talent through a series of fabulous performances of different countries and cultures in the form of melodious song and thrilling dance performances. Apart from Vietnamese dance, Mexican dance, Moroccan dance based on tradition and fusion of western notes, Indian Kathak, Gujarati dance and Punjabi dance also mesmerized the audience. One of the main attractions of the programme was the display of highly energetic Taekwondo performance which instilled  everyone the importance of   discipline, respect and perseverance. Another highlight of the show was the display of various yoga asanas. Students of primary section showed the pathway to unity, health and harmony through yoga.

    The young academic achievers were also awarded with trophies and certificates for their remarkable achievements in the academic  session 2022-23. The event was a resounding  success, thanks to the hardwork and dedication of the students, teachers and organizers, that only celebrated the young talent of the school but also reinforced the vision of the school.

      The School celebrated its Annual Day function for classes 3 to 5 on 4 November, 2023 with great zeal and pomp in the school campus. The theme of the event was “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” an idea that transcends cultural boundaries, embracing the diversity of the world and uniting all under the common umbrella of humanity.
      The event traced the glory of India down the millenniums and depicted our country’s has cultural affinity with many countries of the world regardless of political boundaries. The students showcased their talent through a series of incredible fantabulous performances of different countries and cultures in the form of melodious songs and thrilling performances.
      The young learners put up an invigorating Nepalese dance, along with graceful fan and umbrella dance of Japan. Brazil’s world-famous football and carnival fandom was showcased by our talented powerhouses and the exuberance of Samba swayed the audience sitting in the hall.
      V. Ritisha’s bhratnatyam performance in praise of Lord Rama enthralled one and all and her facial expression and intricate mudras were a sight to behold from such a young performer. Jahnvi’s solo dance, which was a fusion of western notes and Indian Kathak, captivated the parents.
      The musical strains of Una Paloma Blanca and Heal the World were mellifluously sung to perfection by our budding singers who have an interest in western music. Indian classical performances Swagatam and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam were set to perfection on Indian classical notes.
      The young academic achievers were also awarded with trophies and certificates for their achievements in the session 2022-23. The event was a resounding success, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the students, teachers and organizers, that not only celebrated the young talent of the school but also reinforced the vision of the school.
      The students of classes 3,4 and 5 had also prepared projects on Social Studies, Science and Art which was appreciated by the parent community.
